WHA advises Healthcare Subrogation Group on its sale to Carelon Insights, an affiliate of Elevance Health
Waller Helms Advisors is pleased to have represented Healthcare Subrogation Group, LLC (“HCSG”) on its sale to Carelon Insights, Inc., an affiliate of Elevance Health, Inc.
Founded in 2006, Healthcare Subrogation Group is a technology company that provides case identification and recovery services to healthcare organizations. HCSG’s proprietary software, which leverages advanced data algorithm methods, increases the scope and recovery opportunities for its clients. Given this technology and a strong commercial relationship, HCSG represents an attractive acquisition for Carelon. Together, the teams will build upon HCSG’s track record of exceptional outcomes and provide critical solutions to healthcare organizations.
This is the second transaction that WHA has completed with HCSG’s principal shareholders. Earlier this year, WHA advised HCSG’s sister company, Spartan Recoveries, on its sale to Alacrity Solutions.
